Virtù di Zuppa with barley and mushrooms is a classic in our tradition. Tasty and fragrant, with fine porcini mushrooms and the nutritional values of barley.

Contains beta-glucans, soluble fibres which are naturally present in barley. Beta-glucans reduce blood cholesterol: the beneficial effect is achieved with a daily intake of 3 grams of beta-glucans from barley. One serving of Virtù di Zuppa - Barley and Mushrooms provides 3 grams of beta-glucans.

Directions

Pot 6 minutes

Pour the frozen Virtù di Zuppa with Barley and Mushrooms in a large enough pot and add 180 ml of water. Cover, bring to a boil and cook over medium heat for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Gluttonous suggestions

To enhance the Virtù di Zuppa with Barley and Mushrooms flavor, pour a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle with pepper before serving. For a richer dish add grated Grana cheese before cooking end time, stirring carefully.
