Performance bonus
Every year, Orogel provides its employees with a variable performance bonus linked to company results and the achievement of qualitative and quantitative targets.
Interest-free loans
As part of our commitment to mutual support, Orogel gives employees the opportunity to apply for interest-free loans with a 12-month repayment term.
Support with home loans
Orogel supports employees and farmer-members in accessing credit by providing, upon request and subject to eligibility requirements, additional guarantees for home loans.
Affordable housing
To help meet the housing needs of its people, Orogel provides homes at affordable rents, offering practical support to those who need it.
Part-time work after maternity leave
To support a better balance between work and family life, Orogel gives employees returning from maternity leave the opportunity to work part-time during the first years of their child’s life.
School allowance
Orogel supports employees with school-age children through an annual allowance, paid with their October salary, to help cover the cost of school textbooks.
After-school programme
Through C’Entro, Orogel provides an after-school programme for employees’ children, run by qualified staff and offering educational and recreational activities throughout the school year.
Summer programme
During the summer months, C’Entro continues its activities with a dedicated programme for employees’ children, offering educational and recreational activities designed to support children and their families.
Shopping vouchers
Every year, Orogel provides farmer-members, employees and collaborators with shopping vouchers that can be used at participating retail outlets, offering an additional form of practical support for its people.
Wellbeing Area
To encourage a healthy lifestyle, Orogel provides employees with a dedicated wellbeing area, including an on-site gym that can be used free of charge on working days.
Casa InOrogel
A dedicated space for health, prevention, training and workplace safety. Casa InOrogel brings together the occupational physician, health prevention professionals, the Laboratorio del Benessere and rooms for employee training activities.
Health and safety
The health and safety of our people are a daily commitment that shapes the way we work. We operate an ISO 45001-certified management system across all our sites and for our entire workforce. We promote a culture of prevention that involves everyone, with the aim of creating increasingly safe workplaces and fostering greater awareness.
Supporting local communities
Since its beginnings, Orogel has grown while maintaining strong ties with the local communities and the people who live there. Founded by local farmers, our cooperative continues to contribute to the vitality of the communities in which it operates by supporting Italian agriculture, creating employment and backing social, cultural and charitable initiatives. This commitment translates into tangible action, from supporting social causes and tackling food waste to promoting culture and strengthening local agricultural supply chains.
Fondazione F.OR Fruttadoro Orogel
To celebrate our first 50 years, in 2017 we established F.OR, a foundation active in social initiatives, charitable causes and culture, to which the Orogel Group allocates 5% of its profits.
Consorzio Romagna Iniziative
We helped establish Romagna Iniziative and were among its first members. The consortium brings together businesses from the Cesena and Romagna areas to support sporting activities and arts and cultural projects, with a particular focus on young people.
Fondazione Romagna Solidale
Orogel contributed to the establishment of Fondazione Romagna Solidale, which brings together 70 companies from the Cesena area. Through their contributions, these companies help improve the quality of life of vulnerable people by providing financial support to non-profit organisations working in areas ranging from healthcare and disability support to elderly care and education for young people.
