Zuppa di legumi e cereali e Zuppa di Verdure e Legumi are typical of our tradition, following the Mediterranean diet, that reduces the chance of heart diseases. The low fat content – which is given only from a small amount of extra virgin olive oil – makes this meal light and healthy. Ready in 10-12 minutes in a saucepan.

Ingredients

Legumes in variable quantity 34% (20% cannellini beans, 7% lentils, 3,5% borlotti beans, chickpeas), water, cereals in variable quantity 18% (barley, 4% spelt), tomato, potatoes, carrots, buckwheat, extra virgin olive oil, leek, shallot, garlic, stock (salt, potato starch, yeast extract, potato maltodextrin, onion, carrots, celery, parsley, sunflower oil, ginger, nutmeg, natural seasoning), salt.

To Prepare

  • Saucepan: Put the frozen product in a suitable saucepan and add 300g water, cook over medium heat for 10-12 minutes, stirring now and then.
  • Pressure cooker: Place the frozen product in your cooker with 300g water. Close carefully and cook for 6 minutes.
  • Microwave 900 W: Place 300 gr. frozen soup in a suitable bowl, add 130g water, cover and let cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring a couple of times. Please note that the specified cooking time is provided as an indication only.
  • Tasty tips: For added flavour, serve this soup with a dash of extra virgin olive oil and freshly ground pepper. You can also add bacon dices when starting cooking.
